Explore the permanent collection of artwork at the Art Museum of Eastern Idaho
Idaho Falls has a lot to offer everyone who visits, especially to those people who are lovers of art. The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho is a great attraction and a must see for everyone who travels to or through the area around Idaho Falls. The museum has a wonderful permanent collection of artwork available to view in a variety of different galleries. The museum adds new pieces to its permanent collection all the time, so you will likely get a chance to see something new whenever you visit. In addition to the wonderful permanent gallery, you can also find some great rotating exhibits that visit the museum. Some of the traveling exhibits include The Drawings of Milica Popvic, an artist who creates wonderful abstracts works, and James Castle: From Icehouse unto Early Attic: Books and Drawings. Castle was a man who was deaf, couldn’t read or write, and may have been autistic but was an incredible artist. The museum has many of his early works, those created before 1924. Everyone who has an interest in art will be able to find something to love at the Art Museum of Eastern Idaho. If you are in the area, make sure you stop by for a visit.
