There are many places to play online games, and when you find one you like, you may go back time and time again.

One of the most popular game characters online is Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic is the hero of the video game series originally released by Sega in 1991, as well as numerous spin-off comics, cartoons and books. Since that time, Sonic has become one of the world’s best-known video game characters, having sold over 45 million total copies. Sonic was one of the first game characters ever inducted into the prestigious “Walk of Game”.

A number of websites allow you to play sonic games for free. Sites like GamerzLair.com, Arcadegames.nu, PCgame4fun, and others offer multiple Sonic the Hedgehog online games for your video gaming pleasure. Some are simply scaled down versions of the major game releases, while others include Sonic versions of everything from bowling to Tetris and custom character designers. Obviously, these games are not as in-depth or full-featured as those made for systems like PlayStation, Xbox, GameCube or Wii, but they can still be pretty fun and enjoyable for killing some time in front of your computer.

Yes, there are plenty of ways to waste time online. I consider myself an expert at doing it, though I am sure I am not the only one. I don’t mean to do it, but some days I am just restless and need to take a break for a while. It’s not the most productive activity in the world, but there are times I think they may just keep me sane.
