The EuroMillions has rolled over again, now soaring to an enormous rollover jackpot of 57 million euros for this Friday.

When playing lottery draws with tougher odds (as with most Powerball games) it can be worth saving up your entries until the jackpot has rolled over a few times to give a mouth watering jackpot. Then buying plenty more tickets only when the jackpot is big. It adds some excitement to playing and will actually improve your chances of winning. Jackpots are thrilling anyway with EuroMillions, but when they rollover again and again things can get a little crazy. Here’s a couple of the largest jackpot wins in the time the game has been running so far:-

31 July 2005 – an enormous jackpot of 115 million euros had been created after rolling over 9 times. It was won by one person, Mrs Dolores McNamara from Ireland, 45 years old and a mother of six. So far the biggest winner ever.

17 November 2006 – the jackpot had rolled over a thrilling 11 times, reaching a huge 183 million euros. The jackpot was divided between the twenty winners who all got to take home 9.6 million euros.

IMPORTANT: The Rollover Draws You MUST Play

One important thing to be aware of is if the EuroMillions does rollover again, because EuroMillions can now only rollover a maximum of 11 times – on the 12th draw the money MUST be won! And when those draws happen your chances of winning can be so much better. This is what happened with the huge jackpot on 17 November 2006. Nobody matched all the numbers, so the prize was actually paid out to the next closest matching winner, which meant those 20 people who matched just 5 numbers and 1 lucky star actually took the top prize. Which after 11 rollovers is always going to be one seriously big jackpot!

There are many sites to find the EuroMillions results after a draw, a quick Google search will turn up plenty. Or conveniently there are sites where you can request to automatically get the euromillions results by email.
