Bachelor Degree Online Programs You Should Look Into
Ever increasing numbers of people around the world are looking into earning a bachelor degree online.
Getting your degree online is about the easiest and best way for you to start or complete a college degree. Online degree programs offer the full educational experience of “traditional” college… without the frat-house hijinks, the panty raids, and the countless hours spent sitting in boring classes.
When looking to earn your bachelor degree online, should you go just anywhere, or should you only look into the “elite” programs like Harvard or Yale? The cost for those schools is significantly higher, but are there truly higher earnings to offset the expense?
A researcher from Carnegie Mellon University is not the only one that believes online degrees from elite schools do not translate into higher earnings. The education from non-elite schools is just as good, and the pay you will receive later in your career is equivalent.
The higher pay goes to those who are intelligent enough to learn, and then to apply what they learn. If you survive an online course from Harvard or Yale, you are obviously smart enough to succeed at just about any endeavor.
The general consensus, then, is that it is not worth it to struggle to get accepted to the elite schools, nor is it worthwhile to pay the higher prices. It will not pay off. Besides, if you are doing an online degree program, you already have other things in your life that are keeping you from attending Harvard full-time.
Look for any accredited university that offers a bachelor degree program that fits your interests, your needs, and your budget.
While the so-called elite universities offer a great education — and can even bring higher salaries to graduates who attended full-time — they are not worth the hassle and the expense for an online degree.
